So let’s start with that age-old conversation opener – What do you do then?
I’m an RP voiceover artist from London, specialising in commercial, corporate, telephony and e-learning reels, although I’m willing to give anything a go really.
You probably saw this follow up coming but… Have I heard you in anything?
Well I have voiced over 200 commercials on YouTube & other sites. Mostly new & upcoming businesses, which is always a joy as for many of them, it’s the first time they’ve been able to promote themselves in this way.
Fair enough, but… Anyone more well known?
I have done corporate VO for Sony Xperia, Santander, Coca-cola & Trustpilot.
OK I’ve heard of them. And you’re on the radio too?
Yes, Phoenix FM in Essex (98FM & phoenixfm.com), every Wednesday at 8pm, showcasing new bands & other creatives. At the time of writing, the show’s just passed its 900th episode.
That’s a lot of shows… and what have I seen you in as an actor?
Five films I have appeared in are available on Prime, the most recent being disaster movie ‘Mega Twister’ and the award-winning psychological drama ‘Connie Lynn’. These are also both available to watch on my actor page as well as Prime if you would like to support the productions directly. There’s also plenty of short films and series I’ve been involved in to watch too.
You’ve been in some bigger-name movies too haven’t you…
Well you may have spotted me in the background of ‘Spiderman – Far From Home’ and ‘Mary Queen of Scots’, but I’m aspiring to get closer to the front of the camera…
You’ve been on TV too haven’t you…
Well yes, I was once seen on Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped back in 2018 getting mildly tipsy before drinking coffee to see if it sobered me up (spoiler: it didn’t), 2 months after I was in an identity parade on ITV2’s Britain’s Got More Talent. Maybe I should do a blog on how I sort-of convinced David Walliams that I once kissed Alesha Dixon…
…And now you’re trying to be funny?
Yes, after making my stand-up debut at Backyard Comedy Club as part of a charity event for Ultra Comedy in November 2023, in which I had to write & perform my own 5-minute comedy set in front of 300 people, I decided to make a go at more stand-up- & have performed at open mic nights & stand-up events London & Essex, with plans to do more very soon!
